Premature Ejaculation
Premature Ejaculation (PE) is a common sexual dysfunction in men where ejaculation happens sooner than desired, often within a minute of penetration or before it occurs, leading to distress and reduced sexual satisfaction. It can be lifelong (starting from the first sexual experience) or acquired (developing later), and may result from psychological factors like anxiety, biological factors such as hormonal imbalances, or relationship issues. Treatment typically includes behavioral techniques, therapy, and medications like SSRIs or topical anesthetics, depending on the underlying cause and severity.
