Fildena

Fildena is a prescription medication used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) in men, a condition where achieving or maintaining an erection suitable for sexual activity is difficult. The active ingredient in Fildena is Sildenafil Citrate, the same component found in Viagra, which belongs to a class of drugs known as phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitors. It works by increasing blood flow to the penis during sexual stimulation, helping to achieve and sustain a firm erection.

Fildena is available in various strengths (such as Fildena 25, 50, 100, and higher) and should be taken about 30 to 60 minutes before sexual activity. The effects can last for up to 4 hours, but sexual stimulation is still required for the medication to work. It is not intended for use more than once per day.

Common side effects may include headache, flushing, nasal congestion, dizziness, and upset stomach. It should not be used with nitrates or certain other medications due to the risk of a dangerous drop in blood pressure. Fildena should only be used under the guidance of a healthcare provider to ensure safety and effectiveness.
